Join us for a fun way to make new friends while supporting GSC Meals on Wheels and Spokane County Seniors. The mall will be full of vendors and sponsors with giveaways and information about community resources! Put your best foot forward with us this March.
Spokane Road Rally
July 13th, 2024
Enjoy a fun event covering the same areas where GSC Meals on Wheels delivers meals each day. This mobile scavenger hunt starts at the mall and ends at Black Diamond with a BBQ and car show!
Sponsor Your Own Event
Hosting events benefit the Greater Spokane County Meals on Wheels and is a wonderful opportunity for you to support thousands of seniors in need. As an individual, you can ask your guest or friends and family to help you celebrate a milestone anniversary, birthday, or memorial of a loved one to help one of the most vulnerable groups in our community instead of giving gifts. As a business, you can do well by doing good and receive marketing exposure and valuable consumer contact at the same time you are helping our community.
Your fundraising event can be a dinner, concert, bowl-a-thon, wine tasting, Birthday party, restaurant promotion, retirement celebrations, art auction, food festival, silent auction at an existing event, or even a portion of proceeds from a sold item. If you have an idea for an event to benefit GSCMOW, we’d love to hear it.
Support for Your Event
Depending on the size, timing, and nature of your event, as well as our availability, we may be able to provide support in a variety of forms:
- Marketing Support. We can provide GSC MOW’s name, logo, mission statement, and other organizational information for promotional purposes. In certain cases, we may be able to provide on-site event signage and collateral materials, and we may be able to publicize your event through our regular e-newsletters, website and social media promotion.
- Acknowledgement. We do our best to provide enthusiastic acknowledgment of our sponsors and contributors. This may include website, annual report, and/or other print or online recognition of your generous support.
Special Event Guidelines
Please contact us to discuss your event, and before using our name, logo, or mission statement to publicize your event or pursue other sponsorship. We ask that the percentage of the event proceeds to benefit GSCMOW and/or the total contribution amount be established with us in writing in advance of the event. We will send you our tax I.D. number for your tax deduction purposes. Please know that we are eager to hear and grateful for your fundraising ideas and offers of support, but your event may not always be well-suited to our organization or we may not be able to provide you with the level of support your event needs.
